Crestwood Civic

Fish fry

Pewee Valley Presbyterian Church, 119 Central Avenue in Pewee Valley, will host an all-you-can-eat fish fry this Friday night, March 7, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Adults are $10, seniors are $9 and children are $5, which includes beverage and dessert. For more information, call 419-0801.

Dual Show
Oldham County artists Mike Prather and Nita Deuchle are exhibiting their works of charcoal, oil paintings and pastel landscapes on March 7 and 9 at the Oldham County Country Club in Buckner. Both artists live and work in Oldham County and felt like the country club was a great place to allow their friends, family and art enthusiasts to come see what they’ve been working on the last few months.
They are planning a great evening of art, music, food and drink for March 7 and Sunday afternoon, March 9. The show and the country club is open to the public and all guests are welcome to experience the beautiful work produced by these two local talents.
The show will start Friday at 7 p.m.

Ribbon cutting
The Prospect Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Celebration for “Simply Cozy Gifts & Accessories” on Saturday, March 8 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Ribbon Cutting will take place at noon.
Simply Cozy, owned by Cathryn Hall, is located at 9553 US Highway 42, Prospect in the Prospect Point Shopping Center and features a wide selection of gifts and accessories sure to please everyone on your list. There will be refreshments and 15 percent off all merchandise except sale items on March 8th. In addition, every Thursday, you’ll receive 10 percent off purchases excluding sale items which are already marked down.
