Animal Attraction

The Arts Association of Oldham County is calling artists to enter the fourth annual Animal Attraction Show at Gallery 104, La Grange, March 25- May 10. A juried, multi-media show featuring your pet or favorite animal.

Delivery of work: Saturday, March 22 (1-4 p.m.) Awards Reception, March 27 (6-8 p.m.)Pick up work Saturday, May 10 (1-4 p.m.). Cash Prizes.

Dance Studio

We would like to invite you to the Grand Opening of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in La Grange. We are partnering with Soiree to bring the highest quality dance and service to Oldham County.

Prom Prep

A fun, new workshop is being offered by the Oldham County History Center for teens. Topics include:  Current Fashions for Prom and Parties, How to Handle Delicate Situations, Restaurant Behavior and Tips, What You Should Discuss with Your Parents and Social Media. Fashion marketing consultant Jo Ross will lead the workshop. Known for her Derby Fashion Tips, Jo also heads up Teen Fashion councils and regularly holds fashion shows at local retail malls. Participants will view the latest prom dress fashions at Posh in La Grange and then lunch at the new Rails Restaurant.  Both stores are on Main Street in the Historic District of Downtown LaGrange.

 The workshop will take place on March 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost of the workshop is $50 per person and includes Lunch at Rails Restaurant. All participants must register at the Oldham County History Center by calling 502-222-0826 or email  info@oldhamcountyhistoricalsociety.org.
