MIDDLETOWN – It was a fine day for the Oldham County High School wrestling team Saturday.
The Colonels took the Region V team title with five individual champions on a day highlighted by junior Cody Bishop’s 13-10 upset of Joe Rupp at 140 pounds.
Appropriately enough, Bishop used a move called the “Tootsie Roll” to secure the win over Rupp and give the Colonels the extra push they needed to win their second regional crown in the last three years.
