On Thursday, Aug. 28 high school students and their families in Oldham County are encouraged to attend the first in a series of College and Career Night Programs, “How to Select a College and Get Useful Information at the Regional College Fair.”
The program will be from 7 to 8 p.m. in the South Oldham High School cafeteria.
Topics will include: what’s important when selecting a college, how to find options that fit a student’s needs, important information on the college admissions process and how to decide where to go to college. Students and families will also learn what to ask college representatives who will be at the Oldham County Regional College Fair on Sept. 8. South Oldham High School will host the 2014-2015 College and Career Night Programs.
This will be the first in the series of 2014-2015 College and Career Night Programs which is sponsored by all three high school PTSA’s in Oldham County.
The second in the series will be the annual Oldham County Regional College Fair on Thursday Sept. 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the South Oldham High School cafeteria and auditorium. High school students and their families are encouraged to attend and explore opportunities for their college and career interests following high school.
South Oldham High School will host the 2014-2015 programs. All students and families are welcome. South Oldham High School is located at 5901 Veteran’s Memorial Highway in Crestwood.
