Shelby Cohen and Haley Kemper get to finish their decorated high school careers with one more honor.
The two Oldham County attacking midfielders were named Tuesday to the Kentucky Soccer Coaches Association girls’ All-State West first team.
This is the second straight year Kemper has received the honor and marks the third straight year for Cohen. Cohen was honorable her freshman year and first team her last three seasons. Cohen is the only player in the state to have made all-state teams each of the last four years.
Cohen (20 goals, nine assists) is set to play next season at Louisville, while Kemper (22 goals, 12 assists) will play for Eastern Kentucky.
The pair helped the Lady Colonels advance to the state semifinals, marking the deepest postseason run in program history.
