Most basketball coaches spend the summer working with their players on individual development, working camps, coaching summer league games.
Frank Wright, head girls’ basketball coach at South Oldham High School, did all that and found a little time to give back to a community that is still struggling from the effects of Hurricane Katrina.
Earlier this summer Wright made his fourth trip to the Gulfport, Bilioxi and Bay St. Louis area of Mississippi to help residents there continue their recovery efforts from the nation’s worst natural disaster.
