Clerk celebrated at retirement party

Circuit Court Clerk Lynn Mason, left, with former clerk Laura Hargrove, who gave Mason her start in civil service when she hired Mason as a bookkeeper.

Mason was honored at a retirement celebration Dec. 14.

Mason is retiring at the end of the year after taking office in 1994.

Rick Rash was elected to the office in November.
