Chiba, Kollenberg head All-District team

CRESTWOOD - Oldham County's Ichiro Chiba and South Oldham's Brandon Kollenberg headed the list of local football players named to the all-district football team this year.

The SOHS program also drew another honor when assistant coach David Watkins was voted the Greater Louisville Area Coaches Association assistant coach of the year by his peers.

For Watkins, it is the second coaching honor in the past year.

This spring he was a named the assistant baseball coach of the year by the baseball coaches association.
