Bruins get pair of big innings to win

Ballard High used a pair of big innings aided by Oldham County’s mistakes to be the Colonels 10-5 Tuesday.The Bruins scored six in the third inning and four more in the sixth to keep the Colonels at bay despite a pair of home runs from senior shortstop Josh Kovach.“The third inning went error, error, hit error, error, hit batter walk and hit and they got six runs out of it,” OCHS coach Scott Gerlach said.
