The Oldham County History Center and The Oldham Era present November's Living Treasure, Bill Herdt. Herdt lives in Pewee Valley and owns Herdt Motor Co. at the corner of Ky. 146 and Tulip Avenue. The following is his oral history, as transcribed by Nancy Theiss, director of the Oldham County History Center. Nominees for the Living Treasure award must be at least 70. The award recognizes residents or Oldham natives for their contribution to the community's success.
