Benita Bike's DanceArt - Modern Dance Master Class

A Modern Dance master class will be on Thursday February 9th from 6:15-7:45pm at the Oldham County Schools Arts Center Dance Studio, taught by Denai Lovrien. Lovrien’s modern class draws from the technique and style of modern dancer and choreographer Bella Lewitzky fused with her own contemporary training. The class will consist of a warm up to wake up muscles, strengthen the core, and develop flexibility. We will progress to basic technique exercises that focus on proper body alignment, musicality, and dynamic movement. The final combination will allow dancers to piece together the things they’ve learned throughout the class in an expressive and fluid combination. The class is for ages 12 and up.
