A report issued Feb. 7 by the Kentucky Department of Highways states that the traffic count on Pewee Valley’s Central Avenue railroad crossing is closer to 10,000 vehicles per day, rather than a previously reported count of 900 cars per day.
Mayor Bob Rogers announced the new figure at the city’s regular monthly meeting and said the previously reported 900-car figure was conducted in 1987.
