We just witnessed our first billion-dollar election, what a waste. Those of you who gave money to the presidential race, you threw your money away.

Kentuckians gave $5.2 million to the campaign according to the federal election commission. Americans as a whole donated more than $1.5 billion. And for what? Well a good portion of it went to those negative ads we all hate that only serve to create fear and cloud the issues. Others did legitimately go toward informing voters through advertising, campaign stops and voter outreach.
